Advice for feeding an OTTB rising 5yr old

I need qdvice for my 16hh OTTB baby whonis losing weight.

I've had Banjo for about a month now, and he has transitioned into a herd environment over that time. 8 horses on 15+ acres of land that has scrub and grass. It is muddy at the moment, but will turn dry in a month or so. There is adequate grass, but it's not good quality. He has access to 2 bikkies a day of hay a while away from the main lot given to the top dogs of the herd.

I feed him one hard feed a day, (on his own, I watch him eat it) of 1/2 a scoop of lupins soaked in molasses water, 1/2 scoop of pony maintenance pellets, and one and a half scoops of shandy chaff. He was wormed 3 weeks ago.

He gets ridden once or twice a week, lightly. At most at this stage of training he is getting a few hours block of continual walking and trotting once a week, the rest is ground work and ridden light work focusing on halt, standing, turning etc etc.

He has lost his weight and condition, and has become ribby with sinking rump and a more prominent spine and a duller coat. Please help!

Maybe it's herd stress? He has a feww nips and kicks. Weather has been rainy and miserable but mainly in the 20°s

All advice would be greatly appreciated
