Gift Idea for Wife Mourning a Horse
Yesterday afternoon, my wife had to put down her horse of the past two years due to complications from a July colic surgery. He was only 8, and up until July, was fairly healthy (he had a moderate colic 2 years prior but no incidents in between.
Naturally, my wife is beyond devastated; she spent every day after work at the barn with him, and she can't help but fall in love with every animal she comes across.
I'd like to do something nice for her, but I'm not sure what to do. I was thinking about maybe commissioning like a painting based off a picture or maybe just get a picture nicely framed. I don't know. Would appreciate some ideas. Thanks!
