How does dappling indicate health?
I've hardly been around horses, just admired them from afar. I've noticed that in comments (especially on Facebook) people will say something like, "Wow, that horse looks so dappled and healthy!" or "Congrats on getting your horse nursed back to health, she's so dappled!"
Does dappling indicate health in some way and if so, how?
Purely a curiosity question on my part. Thanks in advance!
