On goats and horses (made a post in r goats but they deleted it so I will post here)

Had a funny memory. Growing up my family had 1 horse and 3 goats in a large field on our property. The goats would always be approximately wherever she was. One day she got loose and ran off (don't know why, might have been going to see other horses in the area) and the goats followed her. A guy who saw this described the event to me and my mom. He said he saw a horse running off on her own, and then right behind her, one by one, the three goats. Sounds hilarious to picture, but was something i could easily see happening.

The three goats were a mother and her adult son and daughter, so it's interesting that all three chose to take the lead from an animal of a different species instead of the matriarch.

Do you all have experience with keeping goats with horses? Thoughts and opinions?

Do goats worship horses automatically?
