#horses - #Any horse historians here? Any idea when this bit may have been in use? Dug up today on a very old road used during pre revolutionary war period. Hasn’t been used for a long time as a road but I’m sure it’s been used as a horse trail more recently. I’m guessing this is mid 1800s? Hoping earlier!
