The r/mylittlepony Content Creators Thread!
If you've paid close attention for the past few months, you've probably noticed a dramatic increase in fresh OC Content being submitted on this sub and that's fantastic! I love those types of posts and it keeps this place feeling alive!
However, this being Reddit and all, there are often cases where you, the average starving artist, pour blood, sweat, and tears into creating cool pony art only to be ignored outright! Sometimes to the point where users tell me directly that they're discouraged from posting self-made content due to low views. I see it time and time again, and that's a real shame.
So in an effort to encourage all the shy or ignored artists of r/mylittlepony, I'm making a weekly Content Creator's showcase thread! I know for a fact there are many, many users who create art and I'd like for you to share it! Post My Little Pony drawings/sketches/WIPs, videos you've helped make, any music you've done, fanfictions written, cosplay worn, physical media created...
Basically, this is a "Shill and Chill" type of thread! If there's MLP content that you, a proud and loyal citizen of r/mylittlepony created, this is your chance to promote it! But please do post more of your work after NPT ends too!
Sample questions to get the ball rolling:
1. Have you ever made MLP fan content? If so, link one you're proud of! (Can be recent or old). Plug your Deviantart/Twitter/Youtube/FanFiction/Other pages too! 2. Are you currently working on something? Care to give a preview or an update? What inspired you to make that? 3. Do you have any advice for aspiring artists on this sub? Maybe a resource guide you've gotten mileage out of? Are you open to simple requests/commissions? 4. What is your favorite/least favorite MLP thing to draw/write/build? Bonus: Have any OC's? 5. Request: If you aren't an artist but still want to participate, submit a small request here! Drop a little idea someone could make for fun! Note, please do not beg for art and immediately leave. At least comment elsewhere before requesting something!
