What are some neat, truly obscure background pony moments?
In other words, little things that happen in the background that are pretty amusing.
When I say truly obscure, I don't mean 'ohmygod, Derpy was cosplaying as an alicorn Princess and Fluttershy is a weeaboo because she had five anime trinkets in the one Nightmare Nights episode!' I mean really obscure stuff, be they quick gags, funny incidents, or other things.
So, to start off:
In The Last Roundup, right before Applejack leaves on the train to go to her rodeo, Pinkie Pie goes on a rant about candy and the eating thereof. While she's talking, Big Mac licks his lips in the background for a couple of seconds. So Pinkie is making him hungry, and he likes candy.
In Canterlot Boutique, when Rarity is selling her dresses, a background mare gets some sticker shock. Her whistling and eyeroll as she walks away really makes it.
In early episodes of the first few seasons, there is a background stallion nicknamed Goldengrape who is standing together with Daisy, a lot. Then in Season 4, while Twilight is pigging out on hayburgers and hayfries, this happens in the background. It takes a full season before him and Daisy are seen together again. He shows up depressed again in Season 6, only to get a big pick-me-up this time from Gabby!
