Changeling speech
In A Canterlot Wedding, Chrysalis is the only changeling seen to speak in her regular form. While the other changelings do speak while in the form of Twilight, they mainly just talk in growls and hisses while in their natural forms. So for a long time, I assumed that the worker changelings were incapable of speech in their natural forms, or if they did speak, they would sound like Stitch.
Then The Times They Are A Changeling aired, where we meet Thorax, who can speak quite well. So I assumed maybe Thorax was just a rare exception.
Then in To Where and Back Again, we see one of the changelings speaking to Chrysalis in its regular form, showing that changelings could speak all along. So how come they never spoke in their natural forms in A Canterlot Wedding?
Then again, they didn't seem to talk much when Starlight, Trixie, Thorax, and Discord were sneaking in, so maybe prior to their transformation, they only spoke when they actually had something to say?
