What exactly is Starlight Glimmer's relation to the Mane 6?
I thought that, during the Season 5 finale, the Mane 6 were welcoming Starlight Glimmer to become one of them, i.e. forming a Mane 7. However, she seems to have a closer attachment to Twilight than to any of the other members. Is she still just a background character, more like Twilight's assistant than actually being best friends with anybody other than Trixie?
