Sap solution?? Help!
My paddocks have multiple pine trees, some of which we trimmed up to 6' so the horses would have a little more room. Now I am regretting that decision, as the mare is constantly rubbing on one of them and literally always has one side of her neck and her face covered in sap. We tried a sealant but the sealant seems not to completely dry (due to sap) and so now she is covered in sealant AND sap. Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions?? Currently I'm having to clean the sap and sealant off her every single day.
