How would an Equestrian version of "The Office" be adapted for a land of magical horses?
Let's imagine that we make first contact with Equestria tomorrow.
Eventually, cultural exchange occurs, including adapting each other's media.
The Office, a UK sitcom, has famously been remade into American, French, German, Canadian, Chilean, Israeli, Swedish and Finnish versions, with a Chinese version currently in development hell.
If Equestria made their own version, what would it be like?
How would the show be different in a world with magic, flight, cutie marks and mystical creatures?
How would the characters eventually develop away from their human counterparts?
What would the humor be like?
Bonus Question: The "archetypes" always have different names. David Brent becomes Michael Scott becomes Gilles Triquet becomes Bernd Stromberg and so on.
What would the names of the "David/Michael, Gareth/Dwight, Tim/Jim and Dawn/Pam" characters be?
