Retirement facilities in Northern CA/Southern OR?
Looking to retire my older horse in the next year or so and trying to start my research early as I've heard many good facilities have a waiting list. The closer to the SF Bay Area or Medford, OR the better.
Can anyone recommend a place that takes really good care of their horses, preferably for under $600/month?
Must have good communication skills. Somewhere w/ add-on options (like weekly grooming, etc.) and that would be able to feed soaked pellets or senior feed when my horse's teeth get too bad to effectively eat hay/grass would be great.
