Dye rubbing off of new saddle.
This is an x-post from r/equestrian, I just wanted to reach a wider audience and get other people's thoughts and opinions. I ride western and my horse and I work off leg pressure. This saddle was ridden for 1 hour once while working off leg pressure in a tear drop pattern. It's a High Horse by Circle Y. All leather. To me it looks like the dye was painted on the leather and I've had 3 other occasions where I've had trouble with a high horse. This a brand new 2017 saddle. Dye Rubbing Off What are your thoughts? What caused this? My leg pressure? Is the dye painted on? Is the leather bad? What about the brand High Horse? Any and all opinions/suggestions welcome. Here the other post on r/equestrian original post
