Backyard Boarding Liability
I am considering keeping a friend of a friend's horse on my property but I want to make sure I'm covered. Everything I've looked into so far seems to be geared towards running a horse boarding business rather than just a single horse.
The boarder will be a minor, which might open up whole new legality issues. Would a liability contract signed by her and her guardian in conjuncture with the Alabama "horses are inherently dangerous" limited liability laws be enough? Or should I up my own insurance as is recommended/required for boarding businesses?
