Earlier today, My Little Pony's official FaceBook attached a meeting transcript to a post by accident. It was taken down in ~10s, but here's a TL:DR

The writers really liked Rainbow Dash's different personalities in "Newbie Dash". From Season 7 onwards, her rainbow mane will signify split personality disorder, and she will switch between personalities for comedic relief and plot development.

To ease viewers into this change, a new single will be released on Hasbro's YouTube page before Season 7 premiers called "20 percent cool".

Due to reduced production costs, Pinkie Pie will no longer break the fourth wall.

For similar reasons, Fluttershy will have a 2-part episode dedicated to "putting your pet[s] down".

Filthy Rich will feature in a new "slice of life" episode revolving around the process of buying rental property as a long-term investment.

The first of the season finale episode will be called "The Needs of the Many" wherein Discord retires as a villain and opens a communication service between the Mane 6. Inspired by "Oracle from Batman".

The writers want the progress of the characters to feel more realistic. Therefore, from Season 8 onwards, the show will be called "My Medium Pony: Friendship is Magic".

There will be 3 "Spike episodes" in Season 7.

The first 12 episodes of Season 7 will be followed by a 2-month hiatus while the animation team works on a new project for Cody Simpson.

The next Equestria Girls movie will revolve around the main cast joining the navy to become sailors.

The 3 "Spike Episodes" in Season 7 have been cancelled.

A crossover episode with The Simpsons is planned. The episode revolves around social perception. All the ponies are outraged when they realize Homer Simpsons cutie mark is a dead horse.

"My Little Pony: The Movie" has been cancelled. Instead, it will be released over several weeks as 22-minute movie shorts.
